Fencing, Driveways & Patios in Grantham

Fencing and Landscaping Contractors Serving Grantham

HJS Fencing & Landscaping provides planned, fully specified outdoor work for homes and businesses across Grantham. From our Newark base, Grantham is a regular working area reached directly via the A1. We cover the town’s established terraces and villas, post-war estates, modern developments and surrounding rural properties without applying a one-size-fits-all specification.

Our Grantham service area also includes Great Gonerby, Barrowby, Harlaxton, Manthorpe, Londonthorpe, Colsterworth, Bottesford and Long Bennington. Customers use one local team for excavation, drainage, fencing, gates, paving and the final clean-down.

Fence Installation and Repairs in Grantham

Closeboard and feather edge fencing provide strong privacy for rear gardens, while composite fencing is a low-maintenance option for newer homes. We replace failed posts, storm-damaged panels and leaning boundaries, and install matching garden gates. Rural customers around Grantham can also request post-and-rail, stock fencing and field gates.

Fencing for exposed and sloping plots

Parts of Grantham and the villages around the Lincolnshire Edge are relatively exposed. We assess wind loading, slope, post depth and drainage before recommending timber or concrete posts. This avoids the common problem of a visually tidy fence that fails because the structure underneath was under-specified.

Driveway Installation and Repairs in Grantham

We install block paving, resin bound, gravel and tarmac driveways. Block paving is useful where customers want defined edging or a design that suits brick-built homes. Resin provides a smoother finish, while gravel works well on rural approaches and larger plots. Existing cracked tarmac, sunken blocks and failed edges can often be repaired where the base remains serviceable.

Patio Laying for Grantham Gardens

Indian sandstone complements older brick and stone properties around central Grantham and nearby villages. Porcelain is popular for contemporary extensions and low-maintenance family gardens. Limestone and natural stone are available for customers seeking a lighter or more formal finish. Every patio is set to safe levels with suitable falls and complete bedding.

Why Grantham Customers Choose HJS

We provide free measured site visits, clear written quotations and direct advice from the team responsible for delivery. We explain preparation depths, material options and drainage before work begins, helping customers compare quotations on specification rather than surface price alone.
